Brandon Mabley returns to Portland to teach his fabulous colour workshop!!
Brandon Mably from the Kaffe Fassett Studio in London will be returning to Portland (his favorite US city!)  to teach.  His all-day knitting workshop Colour in Design will be presented by Yarn Garden and Northwest Wools, owned by two Lindas (we love that!) and the two most established knit shops in Portland.  The workshop will be held at the Kennedy School all day on Saturday, May 10th, and will include lunch.  Kaffe Fassett will join us for lunch and book signings if his schedule allows.

An avid and enthusiastic teacher, Mably has learned one thing over the years - that most people have buried in them a sense of color and design. And it is helping his students discover that design sensibility that continues to inspire and motivate Mably's work.  Since taking over the teaching of knit workshops from Fassett altogether, he has taught throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, France, Germany, and the UK. Check out more details on Brandon's website.

Easy to Experienced

This workshop is for all levels of knitters using stocking stitch, who are interested in developing their ability to use colour in design and inspires knitters to sharpen their observation of colour by working from source material and a wide range of yarns. Participants should end the day with the confidence to use their own personal colour scheme in any design they fancy.

Attendance is limited, so sign up online today, or call the Yarn Garden (503) 239-7950 or contact Nortwest Wools (503) 244-5024 or check out thier website.
