With summer coming to an end, I am casting on new fall projects and getting started on Christmas gifts but the smell of the beach is still on my mind. Anzula must have read my mind and has come up with a yarn to keep the beach on my knitting needles, Sebastian.
The name is even wonderful. Anzula Sebastian is a fingering weight 70% superwash merino / 30% sea cell. The sea cell is actually made up of seaweed! It gives off a luxurious sheen similar to silk and the hand dyes really pop.
This yarn is extremely soft with a bouncy ply and so squishy it would be perfect for a shawl knit up on US #6 needles to get a soft and light fabric. At the same time, it’s very strong, machine washable and great for socks with 395 yards in a skein.
My new favorite dynamic yarn and we have 12 colors to choose from!
